Brian Kebbekus joined Global IP in September 2012 as an associate in the Chicago office after working for the firm as a summer associate and law clerk.
Mr. Kebbekus handles matters involving a wide array of technologies, but he has particular expertise with technologies and standards related to various types of wireless and wireline communications, including WiFi, GSM, CDMA, LTE, Bluetooth, DSL, and MoCA.
Mr. Kebbekus holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served as Executive Articles Editor on the Chicago-Kent Law Review and was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. While studying at GW, he specialised in control systems and integrated circuit design. Mr. Kebbekus is licensed to practice law within the state of Illinois.
